Dr.Sachin S.Pawade got the legacy of philanthropicspirit & attitude from his forefathers. His grandfather late Bhagwantrao Pawade and father Suresh B. Pawade who remained occupied by rural issues selflessly. It was Dr. Sachin S. Pawade’s intuition to serve the community for far satisfying issues. For more than 15 years he has been active in free medical examination and nutritional advice to malnourished kids of Wardha district.
Dr.Sachin S.Pawade addressed the issue of communicable diseases by forming a social organization entitled Vaidyakiya Janjagruti Manch, Wardha [VJM] of private medical practitioners of Wardha to counter the diseases like Dengue, Swine Flu etc. Project Sankalp which was based on generating awareness and prevention for Dengue is successfully running as extra-curricular activity in various schools of Wardha district. Students actively involved in Sankalp project are entitled Arogya-doot.
Vaidyakiya Janjagruti Manch emerged as a change maker in community health under the prominent leadership of Dr.Sachin S.Pawade. After regular awareness campaign at schools, colleges and at public places resulted into drastic fall in the dengue and swine flu patients.
A team of doctors under vibrant and visionary leadership of Dr. Sachin S.Pawade undertook Gramin Aayogya Sandesh Cycle Yatra every year on 15th August and 26th January.[since 5 years]
In the course of time the root causes of communicable diseases like polluted water bodies, littered food wastes was brought into light and created awareness regarding waste food management to Hotel owners, Marriage Hall owners and Catering owners. Awareness was created regarding No use of plastic for prevention from water born diseases.
For Green Wardha-Clean Wardha movement Dr. Sachin S.Pawade and enthusiastic team of VJM planted saplings and motivated more than 500 people for plantation. No Vehicle Day movement was also followed by thousands to bring pollution and traffic problems under control
[Plantation-Miyawaki Project-Waste Water Management- Nirmal Ganesh immersion Campaign] Plantation at Hanuman tekdi, Pipri Meghe, Arvi Raod, Wardha is one the major mile stones in the organizational leadership of Dr.Sachin S.Pawade. Ground water recharge, plantation of about 13,500 saplings made it a public movement. Currently 12 big size Miyawaki are there at Hanuman Tekadi.
By digging about 250 trenches of 8”X2”X2” [CCT] almost 2 Cr.liter of ground water is recharged every year. Waste washed-out water [3 lac ltr. / Per day] from water supply and purification plant is utilized for ground water recharge. It is a unique project in the area which brought a huge acknowledgement and appreciation from all the corners of the State. These projects are living examples of Dr.Sachin S.Pawade’s visionary personality.
Nirmal Ganesh Visarjan movement also brought a note-worthy change in the mind set of community regarding maintaining purity of water bodies and immersion of idols at right places. Built 3 big size artificial tanks for the immersion of Shree Ganesh idols at Hanuman Tekadi to avoid water pollution. Every year around 4000 idols get immersed in those tanks and Nirmalya is used to make fertilizers which is consumed in the plantation area.
Since 3 years, Dr. Sachin S. Pawade has been successfully motivating villagers to participate in Satyamev Jayate Water Cup. He sensitised Urban people for water conservation & management.Shramdan of around 15,000 people is carried out till date in participated villages.
A Novel Concept Water Bank project -Villagers working were short of Machinery and Fuel. A fund of about Rs.4.5 lac was generated from donations and it was distributed to about 18 needy villages for water conservation activities in 4 Talukas of Wardha district. [Arvi, Karanja, Deoli, Seloo]
Dr. Sachin S. Pawade and his organisation have been working for creating awareness regarding water conservation since 2015. Hanuman Tekadi; a barren platue at Wardha is treated with watershed management through shramadan.
250 CCT of 8X2X2 Ft dug in 2015 & 1000 saplings were planted.2 Cr Ltrs of Rain Water conservated, 3 Lacs Ltrs of Waste water from MJP was diverted to Hanuman platue & channelised in2.5 Km deep CCT& 5000 sapling were planted. It resultedin increasing ground water level on platue and the outskirts of it by more than 3 feet.
Since 5 years Water sensitisation activities are carried out in Schools, Colleges & Colonies. In the year 2019, about 52 awareness drives were organised in Wardha, Nagpur, Chandrapur, Amravati, Yavatmal Districts of Maharashtra. Urban open space management (Large Soak pits -30), Roof Water Harvesting (small soak pits-500), Waste water management (Nanded Pattern Soak Pits-250) in Wardha.
Ground Water level in Wardha has fallen down upto 300 feet. To replenish it, direct recharge is the only option at hand. Bhoojal Moist Soil Roof Water Harvesting filter invented by Dr. Sachin S. Pawade was found as an effective solution for direct recharge. It is provided by VJM on No Loss-No Profit basis.Through 1500 installations till date about 1500 families are content with ample amount of water in spite of severe drought situations.
Every installed filter is recharging directly 350 feet deep bore well with approx. 2 lac ltrs of rain water every year. Due to encouraging results, awareness & recharge activities are carried out in Maharashtra and adjacent States.The Filter is inspected, approved and recommended by GSDA (MS). Mr. Gajendra Singh Shekhawat ji, Union Cabinet Minister for Ministry of Jal Shakti also appreciated and recommended Bhujal moist soil unit.
Dr Sachin Pawade has been honoured by Jalsampada unit - Government of Maharashtra proposed & confirmed his name as Jalnayak of Wardha.
“Mayecha Kopara” and “Mayechi Shidori” in collaboration with District collect-orate and other active social organizations. Needy things like clothes, foot wares, blankets are made available for poor strata of the society. Ready Food is made available for needy at just Rs.05/-. Around 100 such poor and needy people are fed by socially aware hotel owners.
In the series of all note-worthy and meaningful concepts, “Vaidyakiya Dilasa Card” Scheme has been brought into fact by Dr.Sachin S.Pawade’s motivation to all associated medical practitioners for discharging their consultationat no cost and treatment with maximum economic relaxation for the suicide prone agrarian families of Wardha district. The scheme brought a huge acknowledgement across the state. Veteran actor Nana Patekar and Makrand Anaspure put forth the concept of Dr.Sachin S.Pawade in entire Maharashtra.
He has also been providing free medical services to The Indian Soldiers’ families since 5 years.
Free medical examination twice a month at Matoshri Old age House,Eye & Organ donation awareness program, anti-Tobacco awareness program, blankets and warm clothes distribution during chilly winter days are also successfully organized under the able and vibrant guidance of Dr.Sachin S.Pawade.
Since March 2020 India is under the havoc of Covid-19 pandemic. Dr. Sachin S. Pawade along with Vaidyakiya Janjagruti Manch, Wardha took initiative for propagating awareness through handbills, installing hoardings at public places.
Dr Sachin S. Pawade is a pioneer in providing free consultation and prescription to minor ill patients on mobile phone to safe guard the patients during high-risk situation of Covid-19.
During lockdown 1100 food grain kits were distributed to the needy and laborers. Masks, hand-glosses, sanitizers and other essential items were distributed.
Preventive medicines like Zinc, Vit.C were distributed to the front lines like Cops, Revenue Deptt, Municipal council, Grampanchayat employees, Para-medical staffs and Working doctors etc. Homeopathic immuno-booster Ars Alb 30 is also distributed.
Food packets were distributed to about 4000 laborers going back to their destinations by shramik express. [Patna-BiharState].

Hinganghat, Arvi, Takarkheda, Samudrapur, Seloo almost all the Taluka Level camps were organised under his leadership with hand in hand VJM, Indian Red Cross Society and Wardha Pediatric group. Neal about 2000 children were examined for Malnutrition.
